Compassionate care how and when it's needed.
As part of the National Plan, you and your family have access to the United Behavioral Health network, whether you're enrolled in an Aetna, Highmark or UnitedHealthcare medical plan. This network includes behavioral health doctors, therapists and counselors who offer confidential support for a variety of concerns.
Call a Behavioral Health Advocate, 24/7
Each Advocate is a master's-level clinician who can guide you to in-network providers and make in-person appointments for you. Call 1-866-850-6212 or visit liveandworkwell.com (access code: Railroad).
Resources for substance use:
If you or a loved one find yourself using drugs and alcohol to cope with stress, it may lead to a substance-use disorder. Some signs include:¹
- Feeling like you have to use the substance regularly
- Not meeting responsibilities at work or home
- Experiencing withdrawal symptoms when you try to stop
Support to help prevent suicide:
Did you know that certain situations may increase the risk of suicide? These include drug and alcohol use, depression or the recent death of a friend.
Concerned about suicidal thoughts? The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of trained crisis counselors that provides free and confidential support, 24/7. For help, call or text 988.
Access support through Behavioral Health Telemedicine
Your benefit plan offers access to virtual visits with a behavioral health provider through Teladoc or United Behavioral Health using your phone, computer or tablet. Find a therapist, psychiatrist or clinician who best fits your needs and schedule an appointment. Just like with in-office visits, each virtual visit is subject to any applicable copay, deductible or coinsurance amounts.
UNITED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH - To find an in-network provider who offers telemedicine visits, call a 24/7 United Behavioral Health Advocate or go to liveandworkwell.com. Contact the provider to make an appointment and receive their visit instructions.
Teladoc HEALTH - If you don't have an account yet, create one by registering on the Teladoc app, visiting member.teladoc.com/railroad or calling 1-800-Teladoc (835-2362). After registering, you can schedule an appointment.
