TY&E Paid Sick Days - System General Notice 8

Use layoff code L.SP.

Every calendar year, you will receive 5 LSP days.

• You may convert up to three additional paid days (PLD/VAC) into LSP days.
• You can track your LSP usage in the wfhub under the Entitlement Overview section in the Time Off area.

LSP days cannot be used on nationally recognized holidays, including

• New Year's Day
• President's Day
• Good Friday
• Memorial Day
• Fourth of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Day After Thanksgiving
• Christmas live
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve

You do not need to submit a claim to be paid for these days, payment will be automatic.

Please Note: All paid sick days will be treated as personal leave days (PLD) under BNSF TYE attendance policy and will not result in point deductions but are liable to incur conjunction penalties on other layoffs.
